A joint venture under the operational lead of 12.18. Asset Management GmbH, founded in 2021 by Managing Directors Adrian Lindner and Henri Leyer-Pritzkow, has acquired the 5-Star Superior TOP Hotel Hochgurgl in Tyrol. The hotel, located at 2,200 meters with direct access to the ski slopes in one of the most snow-secure areas in the Alps, is one of the most renowned luxury hotels in Austria.
12.18. will take over the operation of the hotel under its current name. "TOP Hotel Hochgurgl has an excellent reputation and has been superbly managed for decades by the former owners, the Scheiber family. We will continue to operate the hotel in their spirit and work closely with the family going forward," as Jörg Lindner, Managing Partner of the 12.18. Group, outlines. "We aim to implement targeted upgrading measures this summer while maintaining the charm and character of the hotel as it stands."
With this latest addition, the 12.18. Group expands its high-class hotel portfolio with a first hotel in the Alpine region. "We can now offer our guests from other hotels, such as the 7Pines Resort on Ibiza or Sardinia, an equally appealing destination for the winter season," explains Markus Lück, who oversees the operation of all 12.18. hotels and will also manage the TOP Hotel Hochgurgl with his team under the lead of current General Manager Martin Kuprian.
Via the asset management division, the 12.18. Group offers its holistic expertise in touristic real estate to capital partners to jointly invest in high-yield assets in leisure destinations throughout Europe. The Alpine region in particular will play a major role in the further growth: "The hotel market in the Alpine region will continue to benefit from a major increase in demand in the upcoming years. Due to its current structure, it offers many opportunities for the realization of exceptional hotel projects," says Adrian Lindner.
