Düsseldorf/Munich, 6 October 2022. Yesterday, the traditional 12.18. press lunch took place at the Expo Real in Munich. Accompanied by extraordinary creations of the two-star chef Tohru Nakamura, the Düsseldorf-based project developer and operator for high-quality tourism properties presented its new projects and plans. In addition to announcing SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course as the third property in the partnership with Destination by Hyatt, founder and managing partner Jörg Lindner presented the opening of the group's first hotel in the Alpine region.
SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course becomes part of the Destination by Hyatt collection
SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course will be the third cooperation between the 12.18. group and a Hyatt subsidiary. Hyatt will include the luxurious property located in the Scottish Borders in its Destination by Hyatt portfolio and thus introduce the brand to the British market. Furthermore, SCHLOSS Roxburghe will welcome guests with additional amenities from late autumn 2022: The separate extension will include 58 additional rooms and suites, a 600 sqm Spa area, state-of-the-art conference and banqueting space and an additional restaurant. In addition, 61 luxury cottages are going to be built around the 18-hole championship golf course and will be opened successively.
Addition of first property in the Alpine region to the 12.18. portfolio
A joint venture under the operational lead of 12.18. Asset Management GmbH, founded in 2021 by Managing Directors Adrian Lindner and Henri Leyer-Pritzkow, has acquired the TOP Hotel Hochgurgl in the Ötztal. The hotel is located at 2,150 metres directly by the ski slope in one of the most snow-sure ski areas in the Alps. After specific renovation work, the Alpine resort will start the winter season on November 17th. Completely new at the start of the season are nine additional rooms and suites in the TOP Hotel Hochgurgl. These include deluxe double rooms, the Prinzensuite, the Herzogsuite and the spectacular Kaisersuite with private pool and sauna.
12.18. and Engel & Völkers Asset Management successfully launched fund
Since the beginning of 2022, 12.18. Investment Management and its licensing partner Engel & Völkers Asset Management have been offering a fund in the luxury hotel sector for institutional investors. The EV Leisure Fund I comprises three properties in Ibiza, Sardinia and Scotland. The purchase of a fourth property on Tenerife is currently planned, bringing the total volume to 330 million euros.
7Pines Resort Sardinia successfully opened
The 7Pines Resort Sardinia, part of the exclusive Destination by Hyatt collection, in the immediate vicinity of Porto Cervo, has been open to guests since the 2022 summer season. The 150,000 sqm park area is located directly on the coast of the Mediterranean island overlooking the archipelago of La Maddalena and impresses with 76 luxurious rooms and suites, five private beaches and exceptional gastronomic concepts.
Opening of the Cone Club Sardinia
On the north coast of Sardinia, the Düsseldorf-based 12.18. group has created a new place of longing, which was realised by Tasteful Concepts Managing Director Marc Uebelherr and his team. The Cone Club in the new 7Pines Resort Sardinia is a beach bar with full-service daybeds, bar lounge, restaurant and club, where enjoyment, aesthetics and exclusivity are combined to create an extraordinary experience. Guests can expect an exceptional food concept by the two-star chef Tohru Nakamura, who respectfully incorporates and creatively interprets traditional products and specialities of the Mediterranean island.
